Community Matters
We believe that social progress begins with community. Only by building and maintaining a vibrant and visible bisexual community can we make real progress on social issues that matter to bi people. In that spirit, amBi is a network of communities, made up of groups in different cities. Through our chapters, you can attend events, enjoy fun activities, and meet bi friendly people in your area.
This website and our Facebook group will help you connect with a larger bi community as well. Through amBi, you will also have the opportunity to interact with members in other parts of the world - all in a welcoming environment.
Privacy and Visibility
We are a private community. Our members' profiles are only visible to other members. Most of our events are private (for members and their guests only). Private events provide a safe space for people to be themselves. We also host public events as a fun way for members to reach out to the greater community in their area.
In both cases, amBi members benefit from being part of a bi positive community, supported by friends and allies. All too often, bisexual people can feel isolated, unable to fit in with the "gay" or "straight" world. For this reason, many people find it very beneficial to have other bi friends. You can be part of your local bi community by joining an amBi chapter in your area.
In a world that often stigmatizes those who identify as bisexual, your generous contribution can make a significant impact in providing a safe and inclusive space for individuals to connect and celebrate their identity.
Through a network of chapters across the globe hosting different types of events, we strive to normalize bisexuality and create a sense of community and belonging for those who have often felt isolated or misunderstood. Your donation, no matter the amount, can continue to build and maintain a vibrant, visible bisexual community and make real progress on social issues that matter to bi people.
