It's that time of year again! LA PRIDE!!!!!! And no bi community anywhere does Pride like amBiLA!
amBi's own Nicky Endres was on One Day At A Time last season, and Nicky and the cast/producers of the show are going to help us celebrate our amBi community and Love Beyond Gender!
Our staging area is on South Crescent Heights near the intersection of Romaine. We are contingent #78, look for the Bi Pride colors.
Because ya'll are coming from further away, I set the start time a bit later. Please plan to arrive at 10:30 (factoring in parking, etc) since step off is 10:42. We will be marching closer to 11:30am.
If you arrive early, we will be decorating our truck and ourselves the first hour or so (9:30-10:30). Hang out, help Bi-bling us out and have fun with us.
This year, the parade will be aired live on network TV! ABC 7 will be covering LA Pride like it's the Rose Parade.
In case you haven't joined amBi LA for Pride before, here is a little taste.
What to wear: Please bring out your amBi T-shirts if you have one. We'll also have a limited number of amBi shirts on site for a donation of $10-$20 (depending on what you can afford). Otherwise dress in the bi colors: Blue, Pink, and lots of purple!
It will be warm so bring some water and sunscreen, etc. Please pack light, though. This is a parade and we'll be walking.
Parking: will be a challenge although the earlier you come the easier it will be. Uber and Lyft are your friends. More info: https://lapride.org/festival-2019/#transportation
