Let's meet at Magic Mountain's entrance gate at 5:45PM and enter the park at 6:00PM for, Out On The Mountain. L.G.B.T.Q. Night. amBi has participated in this event for the last few years and it's always a blast, the lines are ridiculously short, everybody always has a good time. It's unbelievable how easy it is to go on almost every major ride in the park and for the last few years we have just about achieved that.
A little past halfway through the evening when the group gets tired we will have dinner somewhere in the park, most likely at a location where there's multiple food choices. When the park shuts down the rides at midnight, then we will join the dancing! till 1:00am. Don't miss out! Join the fun! Bring a friend or more! It's time for, Out On The Mountain!
If you arrive after 6:00PM call or text Rob (number in meetup) for our location in the park, as well use the meet-up app to connect with the other participants in this event. It's kind of a group effort to help everyone meet up in the park throughout the evening. It's a fun time, and we've always had a good group.
Skip the meal ticket, we will end up eating someplace together; the meal ticket restricts the time and location so it’s Not a good idea.
Yes, it's been a year since amBi last conquered Magic Mountain. Out on the Mountain is an AMAZING event. It's like having your own private amusement park. You and go on ride, after ride, after ride and Magic Mountain has an insane number of them. There really is nothing like it. This year is the 11th Anniversary of the event and you get to enjoy the brand new Justice League: Battle for Metropolis ride!
Who can say no to a private party:
- Closed to the general public,
- Specifically for L.B.G.T.Q. Community,
- Special performance dance parties with (Pop divas, drag queens, gogos)
- All to be enjoyed with your friends, including friends you haven't met yet!
The insider tip is that if you arrive on time, the park is nearly empty and you can get your fill of roller coasters and rides during the first few hours when the lines are short. Then, when the place is full around 11:00PM, you can join the dance party live it up if you like, or hang out with those of us who will try to get in every ride we can before 12:00.
Buy your tickets before September 14 and save off the day-of price. Ticket includes free parking. Remember No season passes or regular tickets are accepted for this special event. This link is to purchase the tickets http://www.outonthemountain.com (http://www.outonthemountain.com/)
It’s $49 forward advance tickets, and $67 dollars at the gate day-of, save $18 just by doing it now.
There will be Friday evening rush hour traffic (i.e. insane), so please plan accordingly.
"It doesn't hurt to post that you are in the park and looking for us too, because when we are on, or about to get on a ride, we won't have access to our phones but there is usually some people setting out a given ride that can help direct you to our location."
I recommend bringing a light jacket with zipper/secure pockets. It can get cool in the evening there even in September, and you don't want stuff to fly out of your pockets when you're on roller coasters.
$49 pre-sale for general admission (includes parking), [Don't bother with the VIP passes or meal pass options; they're Not worth it. NOTE: PRE-SALE TICKET SALES END 11:59pm on the day before, if not sooner. (Website is unclear)]
The general admission price is $67 at the door.

Last year several of us carpooled from various spots near and far. Please discuss in the comments below to get the ball rolling.
The event ends at 1am and for some of us, it's a trek back home. Well, there's a solution to that. The Hilton Garden Inn is the host hotel of the event and is offering discounts: Rooms for $109/night plus tax. That includes Parking, Internet, and Breakfast.
