Rogue Valley Earth Day

  • Science Works Hands-On Museum 1500 East Main Street Ashland, OR, 97520 United States (map)

Southern Oregon Chapter members RSVP here.

Let's show big Mama Earth some love! Many of the entertainers and exhibitors will be there to celebrate cultural diversity which is exactly what amBi is all about! Entertainment will include: Ashland Taiko (Japanese drumming), Ballet Folklorico Ritmo Alegre (traditional Mexican folk dancing), Creekside Strings, etc.

This is a FREE event but there are vendors, you may want to bring pocket-cash.

Exhibitors will include: Ashland Community Cohousing, three different honey bee booths, Ashland Post and Beam (timber frame construction), ECS Refining (don't toss that old cell phone, cable box, or stupid smart watch in the landfill), Go Home (tiny homes on wheels), Pacifica Caterpillar mobile science learning center, Rogue Valley Farm to School (bringing local produce to our schools) and Willow-Witt Ranch ( a sustainable farm owned by a lesbian couple, I've met them, they're awesome!). Other booths include animal shelters/rights, recycling, conservation, climate change and counter-action, electric vehicles and bicycles, farming and solar.

This is a family friendly event so bring the brood! If you can, walk, bike (bring a lock), carpool or take the bus to the Ashland Scienceworks.

Food and drinks will be sold at the event. Bring a durable beverage container as disposables are NOT permitted at vendor booths.
