#StillBisexual has filmed nearly 100 videos of bisexuals of all ages, races, and gender identities telling their stories from countries around the world—and we want to tell yours!
#StillBisexual videos involve participants writing down their stories of how they came to realize they were bi/pan/fluid/queer, their experiences coming out and dating, and how they eventually came to realize their bisexuality was here to stay. You can see examples of #StillBisexual videos at stillbisexual.com.
We can help you write your video's script at the event or you can get a jumpstart by filling out our worksheet beforehand in either English https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B2FL1i4ov0UnZXNVSkVBT2oyQk0/view) or Spanish (https://docs.google.com/document/d/1K2vhHrIqct21Td4tXPYOe7QYxFUgATxPFjjWw_v3FXA/edit#heading=h.gjdgxs).
It's important for members of our community to see what other people's experiences of being bisexual are like. Odds are, someone will see your video and feel inspired to accept themselves a little more or come out. But the biggest value of making a #StillBisexual video is how empowering it can be for participants to tell their stories and embrace their sexuality in a supportive, encouraging environment—then share their video with family and friends and receive more support and understanding about who they are.
Your story matters! It will help someone out there who has a similar one and can see themselves in you.
And if you're feeling unsure about whether you are ready to make a video, you can stop by and take a #StillBisexual selfie or just make new bi friends.
Hope you can join us Saturday, June 2 sometime between 1 and 5.
