amBi Los Angeles is heading to the Long Beach QFilm Festival for a screening of Hunky Jesus, preceded by the short film Kiki. Optional dinner at Pike Restaurant & Bar kicks off at 6:00 PM, then we'll meet in the Art Theatre lobby at 7:30 PM before the show starts at 7:45 🕰️
The evening opens with a blessing from the LA Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence, followed by a performance from Kiki herself. Hunky Jesus explores the legacy of the Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence, and Kiki follows a Long Beach drag performer navigating the craft, vulnerability, and community behind the art form.
